You don't owe anyone a lesson, especially if they weren't trying to learn.

I used to take impromptu trips to whatever island, or fly off and stay in Alaska for months at a time. I didn't call it freedom then. I just called it another Tuesday.

Progress isn't always obvious. Sometimes it's messy, sometimes it's quiet.

I haven't checked my weight in years. It's helped me stay kinder to myself.
