I always take a short pause before I answer.
“I make and sell handwritten fonts.”
Among other things, yes, I make and sell handwritten fonts. That’s what I do. What used to be a random erratic side hustle has now become my reliable passive stream of income.

Don’t let the word “passive” fool you though. I built my own digital asset site. I invested in apps and programs to ensure that I offer quality product. I studied different markets, to learn where I fit best. I invested a lot of time, money and energy to get Mix Fonts to where it is today. It took a lot of active work in the beginning to ensure that this “job” stays sustainable now.
When the ladies of Make Space Today and I started working on our workshop offerings, the first course that came to mind for me was about selling digital products as passive income. How to make money while you sleep. I alway tell friends that EVERYONE has SOMETHING they can sell. It’s just a matter of figuring out what those could be, how to best package them, and where to sell them.
